More About Us...

Mission Statement: To provide a positive arena to help people interact and grow their businesses through:

• Referrals
• Education
• Accountability
• Encouragement and Support

The Lunch & Learn Referral Club (LLC) is a professional networking organization that provides its members the opportunity to share referrals, contacts, and marketing ideas in a positive environment.

When you join the Lunch & Learn Club, you join people with a desire to increase business, and have fun doing it. Lunch & Learn does not impose penalties or fines to motivate. We assume when you join LLC you're already motivated to help yourself by helping others. We also believe all this can be done economically!

Here are a few guidelines that will make it the most productive hour of your week when attending one of our local events.

1. Bring lots of business cards. You never know who you will meet!
2. Be on time, or a few minutes early.
3. Have a good 30-60 second commercial prepared.
4. Don’t sit with people you know, unless you are furthering a business relationship.
5. Make notes on the back of business cards as you meet people.
6. Follow-up with EVERYONE that you meet. Nothing ventured is nothing gained!

Everyone you meet at a network meeting also has a network of his or her own. Your goal is not always to do business with everyone that you meet (although that would be nice). The goal is to get plugged into their network and plug them into your network.

Thank you for your participation!

My Goal in Life is to… Become Who I Am

Discovering your PURPOSE in life is one of the most important discoveries you will ever make. It’s unfortunate that the majority of people live their entire lives without ever identifying their purpose or passion in life. Living a life “on purpose” leads to fulfillment, joy and ultimate success. This should be your goal. By following the exercises below you will be on your way to living the life you deserve.

List your (5) Main Strengths: (i.e., boldness, courage, kindness, optimistic, etc)
List your (5) Main Weaknesses: (i.e., insensitive, procrastinator, lack of motivation, etc)

Think back to a time in your life (it could be when you were a child or yesterday) when you were happy and fulfilled in being or doing something. It does not matter if it lasted for a moment or for a month. Just think about what you were doing and write down as much of the “detail” of the event or activity that you can remember. Why did it make you happy? What about it felt good?

Now fast-forward your life and pretend that you are 95 years old. Looking back at everything you did, at who you were and the contribution you made to your world, answer these questions…

What are you grateful for? What are you really proud of? What do you wish you could change? If you could totally re-write the story of your life, what would you have, do or be?

The great news is that you’re most likely NOT 95 years old, so you CAN re-write the story of your life.

Review all of your answers and spend the next 30 minutes looking deep inside your soul. There is a special plan and purpose for your life. You have unique talents and abilities that are just waiting to be used. You can live a fulfilled life, making a positive contribution to the world around you. The time to start is NOW.

When you live a life filled with purpose you will experience true success— which comes from the inside out. Compare your answers from the time in your life when you were being or doing something that made you happy and fulfilled to the last question you answered on how you would “re-write” your life story. Find the similarities then compare those with your list of “5 Main Strengths.” You should find the connection. Have courage. Follow your heart and it will lead you where you want to go.

Thought For The Day by Napoleon Hill

IF YOU WORK AS HARD AT THE TASK YOU DESIRE TO DO AS THE TASK YOU MUST DO, YOU WILL GO PLACES.

It’s been said that you should always work at two jobs simultaneously: the one you have and the one you desire. When you work as hard at the task you want to do as the task you must do, you are preparing yourself for the future. You are learning skills that will enable you to grow beyond your present position and into your boss’s job and your boss’s boss’s job. When the time comes,… Continue
